Cloud Photography Tricks and Nice Works Sharing




Cloud photography is one of the most interesting ones as it never has the same condition, which also means that you also need lucky while shooting. However, below are four aspects you need to keep in mind while shooting.

1)       Don’t over exposure

Over exposure will let the layering of cloud disappear, so mostly we should let the cloud exposure and sometime you may use the function of –EV. You can try to use different models to test the effect.

2)       CPL

It not only can help you get better blue sky but also better cloud.

3)       Flow cloud

Slow your shutter to dozens second so that you can capture the flowing cloud

4)       Use GND to balance light equation

To maintain the layering of cloud, we can’t use the model of overexposure. But decrease the exposure will make the object on the ground become dim, one of solutions is using GND to balance light equation.
