Lens Camera QX10 and QX100, Funky yet Not Revolutionary Product

Sony released two Lens Cameras (QX100, QX10) at this fourth on Berlin IFA. Someone said that it will bring new life to the old company. However, in my opinion, it will be a funky yet far from revolutionary product. In fact, there are so many conferences these days that I even didn’t notice this one.

Though there is still no depth review now, we can get some basic information of it. According to the news of dpreview, we know that the QX10 and QX100 are 18 and 20 MP cameras that clip onto smartphone, which is used to operate the camera and view photos. It is more likely that the previous one is a entry-level product and the later one is an advanced one. Just like what DP said, QX100 is essentially a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 2 without an LCD.

Compared with the traditional camera and phones, camera is fixed on the body. Yet this one can be separated from the phone and put anywhere you want (sync with the body in Wi-Fi or NFC). Yet, there accompanies a problem of privacy. It is too small to notice for most of people, which may even used by some guys for bad purposes secret photography. However, it is really a funky gadget.
