NASA Shared Moon Landing Pictures on Instagram

NASA is fond of the social media recently. You can find them on Facebook, Google+, Twitter, YouTube, etc. The check-in of Curiosity on Foursquare can be said as the social media year event. However, with so much identities NASA signed up on Instagram only recently. However, the photos they upload don’t let people drop: it is the Earth’s photo from moon visual angle.

The above picture was shot by Apollo on July 20, 1969 – the day of moon landing. It is used for celebrating the launch of LADEE (Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer). It is hard to recognize, but there is thin atmosphere on the moon.
