Survey shows a blue background photo receives more praise

A recent survey on instagram photos show that if your backgroud is blue, then it would 24% more likely than ones. The infomation of this study is claimed  collect from 8 million photos on instagram, from different colors, saturation, texture data, etc.

Unclear why this phenomenon occurs, and what people like. Maybe we can get some clues from the blue background films like avatar, the Smurfs, and others.

Survey also found that using pure color as background is better than the gorgeous color photographs, also could get more 40% of praise.

Relatively speaking, received the least praises photos are mostly the red and orange tone.
