Russia intends to forbid professional photographer and jornalist use Instagram in the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. According to Russia media reports, reporters will not be able to use their mobile phones, tablets, or other portable camera to shoot the sports event, if do not follow the rules, then they will lose their eligibility.
Russia R-Sport news agency head Vasily Konov claimed on Friday. The 2014 Winter Olympics will be officially kicked off on February 7 next year.
According to the Svoboda.org report, ordinary viewers can use their electronic devices at the scene and uploaded to the Web, but journalists did not have the authority, only documents and professional journalists are allowed to photograph at the scene.
This principle is provision with the London 2012 Olympic Games. It is not clear whether the journalists has the right of uploading photos and videos after the end of the game.
