Summers are sunny, we may even get some hate the glare of the light. However, Thom Bartley in the opposite direction do it,
purposely blurred glare as a form an element of the
picture. "I wait for the sun to the perfect
height, and then determine where to shoot, and model is standing in a
region that will allow me using backlight to the maximum. ”
"Due
to strong backlighting, the face of model exposure initially is very
dark, I had to reduce the shutter speed to obtain a brighter exposure,
while also raising the lens flare effect. I'm taken tests with different exposure values, until reach perfect results, and then switch to manual exposure. "Set your own shooting location, let model block most of the light, focus ont their faces, then move your location and try to shoot photos in
different amount of light mount.
Shooting tips
★ Shoot in RAW format, you can get more adjustments on exposure and white balance in the late.
★
Get aperture priority mode to get appropriate exposure parameters,
and then keep up the exposure combination to manual exposure mode.
★ Use long focal length lens, large aperture to shoot as much as possible.
★ I believe you're smart enough, don't want us to know why not to say directly at the Sun through the viewfinder focusing.
