Picture sharing is a big share and has
helped the development of Pinterest, Instagram. The later one was acquired by
Facebook at the price of 1 billion dollars. However, the phenomenon doesn’t
take many chances to the camera market. On the contrary, people are more costumed
to use Smartphone.
The same condition happened on Flickr. We
can find that iPhone5/4S/4 are the top three devices on the list of Camrea Finder. Manufactures also saw
the needs of users and released a series of product with the function of social
sharing. However, this is only a new feature and far from the innovation.
At the beginning of this year, Canon
released the PowerShotN on CES, which can be connected with smartphone through
Wi-Fi. News of recently show that the company has deeper
corporation with Facebook. In fact, similar conditions happen to Nikon,
Sony, Samsung, and other camera manufactures. In fact, early at 2005, Nikon
released the first DSLR D2X with Wi-Fi, which is designed for journalists.
The way of sharing photos is changing or
the time, from the old ways of developing film, share through PC, and current
one button sharing. However, the effect is very limited. People are used to use
their smart phone and there are editing apps on the devices, which is the main
stream cameras can’t do. Even the camera manufactures can consult this problem
(Samsung Galaxy Camera), customers still not go for it.
Actually, the effect of smart phone is far
from perfect in pixel and definition and poor in burst shot. It can be said
that camera manufactures still have time in intelligent their device. After
all, the technology of camera manufacturing is not easy for new companies.
